Jet Blue Airways

In August 2006 for example Jet Blue Airways started a new route to Washington-Dulles from John F. Kennedy International Airport thereby realizing its dream of connecting the three largest cities of the world namely Washington DC, New York and Boston. Thereby Jet Blue Airways has put other airlines operating on this route namely Delta Shuttle and US Airways Shuttle. Jet Blue Airways has further announced commencing flights to and from White Plains, New York. When the new airport starts operating flights, Jet Blue would be in control of six airports in the city of New York. Further in February 2007 USA announced the plans of Jet Blue that the airlines was to enter an alliance with Irish flag aircraft Aer Lingus. The alliance is expected to help the passengers in easy transfers. But there is a limitation, unlike other airlines that share code with each other, this alliance will not allow either airline to sell seats on the other airline.
